Product Description

Planing up to the edge in deep rabbets is no problem with the HL 850 E Planer from Festool. You can cut flush to an adjacent surface because the HL 850 E can plane across the entire width of the rabbet. The planer head is mounted to one side and sits flush with the opposite side of the planer housing. The retractable slide guard makes planing safer and swings up and to the side as the rabbet depth increases.
